I am not criticizing you, I swear. I’m just curious. Aren’t you worried about copyright issues?
To be honest I am having this urge to fansub a series that has been neglected for years.
Also partly because it was licensed in US and dubbed horribly. I’d like some advice regarding this issue, thanks you!
There are no official subs for Frontier, and only mediocre quality ones for 02 and especially Tamers. That’s all I need to know, I don’t care if it’s licensed or not. So no, I’m not really worried, since it’s not like there aren’t a thousand fansub groups out there who are doing the same thing with other series and the worst that happens to them is that they get a cease and desist notice (and only for those who work on the most mainstream stuff). They’re especially not going to go after a single guy who gets like 150 downloads per episode.

Big fan! I downloaded the whole series 02 from your livejournal site a year ago. I like your attitude. I have no experience or whatsoever to guide me along this fansub journey and I’ve just completed one episode of the anime. I was hoping you can check it out when you’re free and you know, give some tips to this overly ambitious person who would probably give up few days later cos fansubbing is reeeaally tough. Anyway, thanks for clearing my doubts.

Kind of a strange question but would you be interested in creating some Dual Audio (Japanese/English/possibly more) Digimon vids? I have most of the audio for all dubbed seasons in English and the capability (sorta) to create them I just would like to know if you wanted to work with me… or possibly allow me to use your subs in the process. I’m new to all this and I didn’t see an e-mail address anywhere so I hope you don’t mind me asking here. ^^; Keep up the great work btw!!
You can use our subs if you need them. I have no interest in dubs, though, so yeah. =V

So I recently decided I should watch the Digimon movies again, and this time in their original Japense incarnation (though I do plan to watch the American version again– nothing beats nostalgia). I was therefore very pleasantly surprised when I came across your subs.
Unfortunately I’m easily hung up on video details, and the movie I started out with (Bokura no War Game) has a few… unfortunate frames (see http://imgur.com/a/oqJRj for a quick sampling). The bitrate on the video is also just a bit too low to grab some of the textures on the background (unfortunately there’s so little else to protect in this *very* aliased video). Additionally the whole ending is more than a little jerky (probably done to prevent combing from the separate telecines going on there, but you can work around them while preserving the smooth credits).
Anyway, I grabbed the DVD and went ahead and did a fresh encode which addresses the issues I mentioned; this understandably messed up the fine timing of the subtitles though (scene changes may have moved a frame or two, so lines/signs may show up early or bleed a couple frames). So while I’m sure it’s pretty easy work for a timer, timing is pretty much my least favorite activity. Point being, if you’d like to release a v3 of Bokura no War Game I can hook you up with a new video that just needs some minor re-timing. Just lemme know if you’re interested, in a reply to this comment, in an e-mail, or on IRC (I’m mep on rizon) and we can work out the details.
Hi. Well, I’m here to ask you a favor. You see, I already have all the DVD RAWS of Digimon Frontier(which I watch with no subtitles, my japanese is rather good) aside from eps 17, 23 and 27wich are in TV-Rip, that you first released in TV-Rip too). And then, seeing that these episodes were on TV-Rip I tried to find the in DVD quality. And here I am. I found episode 17 in DVD quality here, BUT all the links are offline… Could you please upload this file again? Only this one, please?
PS: Sorry for my english, I’m Brazilian.. :)
Preferably in AVI (Xvid), because all the others episodes are in AVI (Xvid), that, of course, if you can.
hi, recently i downloaded digimon 02 from your link, and after i watch for the first eps. sub’s for speech its great, but there isn’t sub’s for japanese text.
Can i request for more additional sub’s for the japanese text? for every your sub ? (If this possible it would be GREAT :) )
The digimon seasons 1-5 have been remastered to 1080p . can you get ahold of the blurays and upload them in torrents thanks

Hello, I was wondering if you actually were going to set up an mIRC group. I don’t really use torrents and the files seem to be dead for Frontier with the direct download links. Sorry if this is a hassle, but I think it would be awesome to just MIRC download it so it can be to a wider audience. Thanks!
