Tamers 16-51 torrent

Thank Starfish for that, since I couldn’t be bothered to make one. And help with seeding would be appreciated as usual, at least until we release the full batch in a few months from now. Format is MKV, if you absolutely need AVI you’ll have to wait until then (seriously, it’s 2012, I wonder why I even “have to” encode AVI-Xvid anymore).

Digimon Tamers Movie 2 by DmonHiro

Script seems solid, at least far more than the old WPP version. Styling is kinda ugly and scene-timing is non-existent, but that’s not really enough to make me consider re-subbing it now. So, yeah, there you have it. We’ll still sub movie 3 and the Frontier movie after finishing the current stuff if there’s no decent version by then.

And that’s it. Only took over 10 years to get a complete set of properly-subbed Tamers episodes (spread across two groups now, but yeah). Episodes 2-15 will follow after this, and most likely the 2nd movie as well. I have serious doubts about following through with my “finishing everything in summer” idea now, but well, maybe we can hope for “before 2013” instead. :V

By the way, we added a little extra at the end of 51. Now, Hulufails time:

I do not process such fail. Mind you, these are only like half the screencaps Puto sent me, and only from 50 since 51 had been checked months ago.

Hulusubs outdid themselves this time around:

(There was a hulufail screencap here, but the image apparently broke an hour I posted it, after being hosted on photobucket for a week. I don’t even. Nevermind it works again.)

So I randomly realized I’ve participated in the subbing of every Digimon series other than Savers in one way or another. The Adventure movies, all of 02, half of Tamers (what do you mean I’ve subbed it all? I don’t remember doing that), most of Frontier, timed half of Xros Wars and the first episode of Hunters (lol). And it all started when I thought I’d slap some shitsubs on some Tamers raws with zero fansubbing knowledge back in summer 2008.

…wait, I just implied I subbed Tamers. Crap. I call discontinuity on that plotline.

Now, time to leave 8.76 GB worth of releases uploading to MediaFire overnight. And then the site will discontinue the service due to the media industry’s pressure a week later and I’ll just say fuck it and just release a batch torrent when we’re done because screw everything else.

Edit: Okay, maybe saying “overnight” was being too optimistic.

Added a split file to MediaFire for those who can’t download from BayFiles. Just download both parts to the same directory and extract the first one with 7-zip or WinRAR.

Tamers v2’s up

All the new encodes are up at the Tamers page, as well as all the scripts so far. Of course, whether the MultiUpload links will work or not is another matter.

Edit: every DDL site I try seems to fail the day after. Gimme some time to do something about that. =V

Release: Digimon Tamers 43

MKV (H264)
AVI (Xvid)

Just after I said I’d use MultiUpload for everything, it becomes barely functional (in during massive influx of former MegaUpload users). For the time being, have a RapidShare link for the MKV instead. RS used to be one of the worst filesharing services but I’d say it’s definitely improved. Only thing is, it messes up the filename a bit.

And my personal favorite, due to the combination of the line and Takato’s face:
