Thank Starfish for that, since I couldn’t be bothered to make one. And help with seeding would be appreciated as usual, at least until we release the full batch in a few months from now. Format is MKV, if you absolutely need AVI you’ll have to wait until then (seriously, it’s 2012, I wonder why I even “have to” encode AVI-Xvid anymore).
Perfect! When is the next frontier episode coming?
Probably in the weekend.
yeah guys seed! It’s already bad enough that I have to work around my college’s internet throttling my torrents haha
Because AVIs can be burned onto DVD discs and enjoyed on the TV. :D <3 Anytime I've attempted to turn an MKV into and AVI to burn it, the subs get lost somehow in the process.
Good point, this is one downside to soft subs, which are not a part of the video stream itself.
They can still be easily extracted and then hardsubbed. Some encoding software allows you to do it automatically, as long as you enable the option.
I have no idea how to go about doing that. I’m really really not very computer savvy. I had to be shown multiple times how to do burn a DVD disc. lol. Which is why I’m very appreciative for when groups occasionally still do AVI versions. <3
With any decent graphics card you can just connect to your TV with a second HDMI-cable and play it from the computer for way better quality.
I considered pointing that out, but we have to consider that not everyone has a modern TV in the first place.
With a modern-enough TV, you could just plug your flash drive on it and have the TV itself play the episodes.
Well for me, that’s just pure Greek, honestly. I don’t know if my TV or whatever can even do that though, even if I understood it. ^^; Noooot very good with the technical stuff.
Will be seeding the episodes form my university for quite a while, already got ratio 8 :P.
(Too bad right now it’s with connectivity issues. Kinda amazing there’s still a peer connected)
I have a very old PC which can’t play anything but AVI (it can’t play even the 480p mkv). It also can’t handle the enconding/conversion process. (Yeah, I want a new PC. But I can’t afford one. But I still want to watch anime.) So I’m really happy when people do offer us AVIs. Thank you very much for that. <3 Sorry if it's a bother. *bows*
Yay! Thank you! I will seed for a while.
Thank you for reuploading theese. Avi files of this show can be found anywhere on the internet but I much rather your softsub version
